So it becomes quite an essential task for Aquarius to keep the tank of various fishes as per their needs and characteristics.

Goldfish tank size and set up

Tank size plays a vital role in the growth of any fish. Tank size for goldfish is probably one of the most important factors to keep in mind before keeping your goldfish. As per our observation, we advise that it should be at least 40 litres per fish. As there are different size of goldfish and mixed breed, hence it would be better to search for the tank size of your particular goldfish breed.

The smallest goldfish breed is pearl scale which grows up to 4″, but apart from this, the other breed that is oranda can reach 8″ in size when fully grown. 

One of the other vital factors that you should keep in mind is that goldfish are quite speedy growers and hence you should be well prepared for the different tank sizes. As per my experience, I suggest that bigger tanks come with a multitude of benefits such as they are much easier to maintain because large volumes of water dilute waste quickly, because of the large size it becomes less stressful to maintain the tank. 

Aquarium temperature

Most of the goldfish prefer the temperature between 15 to 24 degrees. The heater is not an essential part for a tropical tank; however, only a few fancy species can benefit from a heater to preserve the tank temperature stable.

Aquarium plants

Some decoration is not only right for the looks of the tank but is also plays an essential role in the growth of fishes. There are hundreds of fun ornaments that you can add that to spruce up the tank. Goldfish prefer cold water, and hence there are many life plants you can add. You can also add some synthetic plants because it is not only fascinating to look but also provides enrichment for your fish.
